Ten Beauty Tips You Can't Live Without - All You Need to Do is Spend Time not Money

Be Kind to your skin and hair

If you sleep in a bedroom with central heating your skin will suffer and become dry because of lack of moisture in the room - the remedy is a bowl of water placed on your radiator which will increase the humidity in the room

This is a magic little beauty tip that costs almost nothing and achieves remarkable results. After thoroughly cleansing, use a peeled grape and gently rub all over your face. Leave it to dry before washing off with tepid water. The result is tightened, silky smooth skin that feels as though you have just had a really expensive facial. Just one word of warning - try this on your wrist first just to ensure that you are not allergic to grape juice!

If you want to make sure that your newly-done hairstyle is still shiny and smooth when you get up in a morning - do as the ancient Egyptians did and sleep on a silk pillowcase - this way your hair won't stick to the pillow as much as it would if you were using cotton bedding.

Always use a powerful hairdryer - you can create your style quickly in far less time. Aim for a hairdryer of 2,000W,s or over - most salons use over 3000w's - when you next have to replace yours

When using essential oils in the bath - never add them in an undiluted form. Buy a cheap carrier oil and add the recommended number of drops to that. Remember to use an essential oil that has relaxing properties if you are bathing before going to bed and an invigorating one if you want to start the day in top form. The ideal time to apply body lotion is after a bath - it will lock in moisture and by massaging in the direction of your heart - you will boost your circulation and lymphatic drainage.

Always, always, use a heat protection spray every time you dry your hair - it will help to prevent split ends and keep the hair healthy. If blow drying creates static in your hair, use a small amount of serum once your hair is dry. Sometimes, let your hair dry naturally - a break from the hairdryer does your hair a favour

We all know we should drink at least six glasses of water daily to benefit our health and skin but it also helps to fade dark circles under the eyes. Water is also free and useful for giving your pores a steam clean. Fill a bowl with hot water, cover your face with a soaked face flannel first and stand over the bowl for one minute, to let the steam do its work.

As you get older you need to use less make-up, not more! Too much, can be extremely aging and too much powder is the biggest culprit. Pat powder on areas of your face that are likely to get oily, such as your nose, chin, forehead and leave it off your cheeks - it will result in a far more natural look.

Don't forget the skin on your feet if you are going to expose them in summer. The cheap tip here is to use a lemon - rub over thickened areas of the feet to exfoliate and finish of with a rich moisturising cream or a foot soak in warm water with essential oils.

Finally, never underestimate the beneficial beauty gains that can come from learning a few facial, self-massage tricks. Any massage is beneficial but by buying yourself a basic massage book you could soon learn tips about how to relax the neck, eye and facial areas which you would find brought both physical and mental benefits, as well producing results which would probably enhance your complexion more than any expensive cosmetic product would ever do.

All the tips outlined here will bring some measure of benefit and won't cost a fortune but the biggest beauty tip of all is to be happy. Stress and unhappiness can and do age you far more than any other factor and it is most noticable on the face. So pamper yourself, try these ten tips but most of all smile.

How to get great skin for first day of school? Any other beauty/fashion tips?

how to get great skin for 1st day of school? does any1 have any other fashion or beauty tips for back 2 skool? thanks =)
i dont really have acne or anything, just a pimple every now and then but my skin isn't perfect, it has like blemishes and stuff

If your skin's mostly fine already definetly don't use an acne cleanser. proactive will dry out your skin and litterally bleach it. which you don't want after a summer of tanning. Your face will be paler than the rest of you.]
My skin is normally good some blackhead areas and zits every now and then so it sounds like your skin type. I find these rules work for me:
#1: don't pick at any blemishes you already have. especially blackheads.
#2: Wash with a gentle cleanser and also a soft washcloth giving a little scrub but not to hard only once a day. Just wash with water only if you wash more than once a day otherwise your skin will get too dry and then overproduce oil.
#3: Drink the recommended intake of water per day. [8 8 ounce glasses] and try your hardest to make most of it plain water.
#4: Lay off any soda or other really sugary things if u eat lots of this stuff. Eat more fruits/veggies especially ones with caratenoids
#5: Do a little bit of tanning 2 days before school starts. don't over do it though, you don't wanna be red.

These things take time to work but they work for me. If you keep at it for the month before school you'll probably have nice skin by then.

beauty and makeup tips

Can you girlies help me by giving makeup tips?

I have long dark brown hair
Hazel eyes
clear porcelain Skin
red lips..

Makeup and beauty tips would be greatly appreciated :) Thank you! :)

okay! for hair if you wanna go for an old hollywood look make subtle was in your hair and for make up:
wear just a little concealer where u need it, but if your skins clear your won't need to much.
for your eyes put on some black eyeliner, then just light shimmer eye shadow
wear a pink blush, apply it by smiling, then you should see bump, thos are the apples of your cheeck, just apply light blush, like two strokes should do it.
then play up those red lips with red lipstick!!!

if you want your hair to look windswept all day (i do this all the time) curl it but away from your face then brush it, this look super chic:
then for makeup same as the concealer for the first one, but for your eyes use a brown, or purple eyeliners (they'll make your eyes "pop") then play around with any color eye shadow, just be careful if you decide to go with a purple liner go with a nutral shade of eye shadow.
as foor blush little to none is ok, if you but on too much blush with red lips it can be kind of like a clown. as for lips just a peach or a cherry lip gloss would look good.

those are two different looks you can try together. but if you just want to know what kind of colours:

try to always match your skin color with the foundation, but thats a given

for your eyes once again any color shade, and brown and purple eyelines

for blush light peaches or very cherrys

then for lips bold red lipsticks or cherry/peach lip glosses.

*try highlighting, it looks beautiful on porcelain skin!

hope i helped :)

Top 3 Beauty Tips to Look Like a Movie Star

Becoming the perfect personification of beauty is almost… nearly… not, truly it's impossible, and even movie stars know that. The key to really looking gorgeous is not to become perfect, but rather to highlight your already-there assets. I mean, what would this world be like if J-Lo didn't stand up for her impressive back side? What about Angelina Jolie's famous plump lips and Tyra Banks' large doe-eyes - can we really live without those? Recently, even the celebs themselves are taking up a more positive stance in regards to beauty. Actresses like Jennifer Love Hewitt and Keira Knightley have spoken up for maintaining their natural beauty despite what Hollywood may consider as flaws to the perfect image.

Saying thus, here are the 3 top beauty tips on how to achieve that Hollywood-esque glamour, without drastically changing your look.

1. Most beauty tips start from within, and so will this one. But no, we are not talking about personalities just yet. We mean that you have to take careful consideration of the food you put inside your system. We are not asking you to ditch food entirely so that you could fit into the near impossible size "0." After all, Drew Barrymore and America Ferrera are 2 actresses who look G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S even though they are not in that category.

Rather, we want you to look at food as an ally to achieving beauty.  For example, completely eliminating fats in your diet will only make your hair, nails and skin look sallow, dull and brittle.

One of the best skin care tips we can give you then is to go on an appropriate diet. And when we say appropriate diet, we mean a diet that is approved by doctors, dieticians and / or nutritionists. Not all diets are applicable to all body types, you know. An appropriate diet can help you lose or gain pounds (whatever your body needs,) and at the same time, give you that lustrous glow that only comes from being healthy from within.

2. If you want to know some healthy hair secrets, you could also ask the health professional what natural ingredients you could use to enhance you hair type. Eggs and olive oil are great as moisturizers, but there are other botanicals you could use.

As for hair styles and hair colors, one of the biggest mistakes you could do is to do your own hair. It may sound strange, but if you want to capture that Hollywood-esque glam, let the pros handle it. Ask your hairdresser what hair style will accentuate parts of your face that you like. If you have those really gorgeous eyes, (brilliant irises, or a large wide-awake pair,) hiding them underneath loads of bangs will diminish your beauty.

Jennifer Aniston for example, accentuates her sleek, chiseled jaws and slanted cheekbones with her definitive layered locks with the sun-kissed highlights. On the other hand, drastic changes can also be beneficial. Pop sensation Rihanna, continues to make waves with her suddenly short do.

3. As far as make up tips are concerned, the mantra now is light and glowing. Gone are the days when dramatic heavy-lidded eyes and overly rouged cheeks are considered a la mode. If you want make-up that can hide flaws (like dark rings around the eyes,) you could try some base concealers, and then go for mineral-based make-up instead like foundations and blushes.

This simple combo will not only hide undesirable spots, but it can give you that flawless, vibrant look. Just remember to apply the same to your neck area to complete the look.

Natural Beauty Tips to Look Beautiful

'Beauty is skin deep', so goes the good old saying. But, that does not rob the charm of enhancing your looks. So, hey there, beauty conscious, there's just no harm in having some of the best beauty tips up your sleeves. For looking and feeling beautiful is a sign of health and happiness. And in an age where looking good spells confidence and success, it's vital that you have the best beauty tips handy.

Buttermilk/cream and yogurt make excellent skin cleansers. They are also excellent for giving a glowing, uniform color and skin tone. They have been used for wrinkle reduction and plumping/rejuvenating the skin. What also works great is eating salmon 2 times a week. Salmon is very high in omega-3 fatty acids and is great for your skin and nervous system (it is interesting to note that salmon and spinach are 2 of the best super foods).

A well-balanced healthy diet including fresh fruits and vegetables will help you to attain natural beauty. Drinking natural fruit juices will enhance natural energy of body. Fruit juices such as oranges, apple, carrots and cucumber juices are excellent beauty secrets that rejuvenate your skin, nails and hair. Drinking a lot of pure water, 8-10 glasses per day, is one of the best tips to enhance your natural beauty.

Regular exercise is the third natural beauty tip that everyone should know. Regular exercise pumps oxygen to our cells, which in conjunction with water, helps to rid our bodies of those nasty toxins. Exercise does not need to be hours in the gym a walk around the block on a consistent basis will do wonders for your skin and body.

Keep your skin clean and clear. Taking care of yourself is taking care of your skin on a daily basis. Cleaning the skin must be made daily using products that do not alter its natural balance or damage it. The skin is exposed to external aggression. By its peripheral position, the skin is unavoidably attacked by dust, pollution, which mingling to the sebum and sweat disrupt the balance of its surface. You need natural antioxidant cream to repair those damages.

Now many home made beauty tips have been introduced which really gives natural look without causing any damage to the skin where they can do on their own or with anyone help. The variety of tips are in use that which highlights your natural beauty in areas like hair care, blemish removal, skin care, make up, eye care and many others.
